ترجمة الأبيات

أيها الإخوة والأساتذة الأفاضل ،

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته،


قرأت الابيات التالية للشاعرعبدالقادر الجزائري. كيف نترجمها ؟
هل هذه الترجمة بالإنجليزية صحيح أم لا ؟


ســلــي الـلـيــل عــنــي كــــم شـقـقــت أديــمــه
عــلـــى ضــامـــر الـجـنـبـيـن مـعــتــدل عـــــال



Ask the night about me how I split open his skin (?)
On slender flanks / sides, high and low


أديمة = skin of the face of an animal
أديمه = his / its brightest part of the day
أديم = brightest part of the day
ضــامـــر = slender, thin, delicate
مـعــتــدل = average, moderate – but here I thought it would be better to say high and low to make the contrast vivid, rather than use high and moderate


ســلـــي الــبــيــد عـــنـــي والــمــفــاوز والـــربـــى
وســهــلا وحــزنـــا كـــــم طــويـــتُ بـتـرحـالــي


Ask the desert and the waterless spaces and the hills of me,

The plain and the high ground how I covered my journey[/LEFT


الــبــيــد = desert
الــمــفــاوز = waterless places
ســهــل = plain
حــزن = high ground
طــويـــتُ = I travelled / traversed – as used here
ترحال = travelling, taking a journey

أديم النهار = light of day
ضامر الجنبين = Slim waist

معتدل = I do not know what mean here
البيد والمفاوز = Arid deserts

السهل = أرض منبسطة plain

طــويـــتُ = I travelled / traversed – as used here
ترحال = Continuous travel



هذه محاولة أرجو أن تصحح ممن يتقن

بداية :
يجب أن نميز بين أنواع الترجمة فهناك ترجمة أدبية (محاولة نقل الأبيات من لغة المصدر SL إلى لغة الهدف TL بطريقة أدبية ) وهذه لا يقدر عليها الكثيرون
وهناك ترجمة بسيطة وأظن أننا نعمل بهذا الاتجاه
وأيضا هناك ترجمة شارحة لا تنقل ألفاظ الأبيات حرفيا بل تشرحها بلغة الهدف :


في الإنجليزية يميلون إلى الاختصار إذا توفرت القرينة (في حال وجد ما يدل على المحذوف) " I hope that my Arabic is clear to you "

لذا لك أن تحذف " about me " من الترجمة لأنها في الأساس وضعت لتقويم الوزن في لغة المصدر SL

أديم (جلد)= lether = skin
أديم (سطح) = surface
أديم النهار =daytime = day
أديم الليل (سواده) = its darkness
ضامر = slim = slender = lean = thin
معتدل (القامة) = striaght = upright

البيد (ج بيداء) = deserts
مفاوز = deserts = waterless areas
السهل = plain
طويت(اجتزت) =I crossed = I passed through
ترحالي = as I'm travelling

One may wounder why i used (whom) instead of "which" or" that"

here the pote personified (humanised) the objects he mentioned after
he said ASK the ... so I prefered (whom) in this position
